“You will be found”
24 NOVEMBER-4 DECEMBER 2027
“Today, at least you’re you – and that’s enough.”
Dear Evan Hansen is a powerful and deeply moving contemporary musical exploring themes of belonging, identity, friendship and the human need for connection. At its heart is Evan Hansen, a teenager who becomes caught in an increasingly complicated situation following the death of a fellow student.
Featuring a memorable score by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, the musical combines moments of humour and warmth with an emotional story about family, honesty and finding your place in the world.
Director Rob Archibald says: “I’m thrilled to be directing Dear Evan Hansen. I’ve loved the show for a long time, particularly how honest it is about our need to connect with other people. I can’t wait to get into the rehearsal room with the cast and fellow creatives and discover what our version of this brilliant show will be.”
